Aguero, Nadal and Gasly back in padel spotlight as Hexagon Cup returns

The Hexagon Cup returns to Madrid later this month, with the fast-growing team competition once again bringing together elite padel players and high-profile team owners from the world of sport and entertainment.

Taking place from January 28 to February 1 in the Spanish capital and broadcast live on SPOTV NOW, the Hexagon Cup has quickly established itself as one of padel’s marquee events since its launch in 2023.

Its unique team-based format, combined with celebrity ownership and the presence of the sport’s top-ranked professionals, has helped propel the tournament onto the global stage.

Defending champions Krü Padel, co-owned by former Manchester City and Barcelona forward Sergio Aguero, return with the target firmly on their backs after lifting the title last year by defeating Rafa Nadal Academy in the final.

They will once again be challenged by a stacked field, including AD/Vantage Team, who finished third in the most recent edition after having claimed the title in 2024.

Ahead of the latest staging of the Hexagon Cup, here’s a closer look at the teams and players confirmed to be in action in Madrid.
