JDT Racing Team confirmed the signing of Andi Farid Izdihar for the upcoming Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) season on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old Indonesian rider, who finished sixth in last year’s Asia Superbike 1000 championship with three podium finishes, will race alongside defending champion Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah aboard the Ducati-powered machine.
It will be the first time the JDT Racing Team have two full-time riders – Hafizh rode solo in their debut season in 2024, while Ryo Mizuno made wildcard appearances in the final two rounds at Sepang and Buriram.
Andi brings significant experience to the lineup, having competed in the ARRC with Astra Honda Racing between 2022 and 2025, and taking part in Moto2 and Moto3.
The 2026 ARRC campaign begins with an official test on April 8 at the Sepang International Circuit, followed by the opening round at the same venue from April 10-12.
