Persija Jakarta defender Rizky Ridho Ramadhani has been nominated for the 2025 FIFA Puskas Award.
FIFA announced the list of nominees on Thursday, featuring several high-profile contenders including Declan Rice, who scored a stunning free-kick for Arsenal against Real Madrid in last season’s UEFA Champions League, and Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, whose curling strike sealed a 2–0 win over rivals Espanyol.

Ridho earned his place on the shortlist for his spectacular halfway-line goal against Arema in May.
The 23-year-old Indonesian became only the second Southeast Asian player to be nominated for the award after Malaysia’s Faiz Subri, who famously won it in 2016.
Other 2025 nominees were Alerrandro, Alessandro Deiola, Pedro de la Vega, Santiago Montiel, Amr Nasser, Carlos Orrantia, Lucas Ribeiro and Kevin Rodrigues.
