Singapore’s Terry Hee and Indonesian shuttler Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja have formed a new mixed doubles partnership for the 2026 BWF World Tour season.

The pairing was confirmed by the Singapore Badminton Association on Tuesday, with the duo set to make their competitive debut at next week’s Indonesia Masters.

They are scheduled to face China’s Cheng Xing/Zhang Chi in the first round.

Hee had been partnering compatriot Jin Yu Jia since December 2024, following the retirement of his wife and former partner, Jessica Tan, who stepped away from competitive badminton due to injury concerns and to pursue her studies in sports management.

Widjaja, meanwhile, experimented with several partnerships with fellow Indonesians throughout 2025, including Aquino Evano Keneddy Tangka, Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto and Dejan Ferdinansyah.

Last year, the 32-year-old also took part in the second edition of BDMNTN-XL in Jakarta, where her team emerged victorious.
