Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja and Terry Hee confirmed the end of their Indonesian-Singaporean partnership after just two months.
Widjaja made the announcement in an Instagram post on Monday, bringing a swift end to a transnational collaboration that had shown promising results on the BWF World Tour.
“Grateful for the opportunity to share the court with [Hee] in the last four tournaments. It was a great journey and experience for me. Wishing everyone all the best ahead! See you again on court,” she wrote.
The Indonesian also thanked Hee’s wife and former mixed doubles partner Jessica Tan, Singapore doubles head coach Paulus Firman and the rest of the Singapore team for their support during the brief partnership.

The split came as a surprise given the pair’s encouraging performances across four tournaments.
Widjaja and Hee reached the 2026 Indonesia Masters quarter-finals and the 2026 German Open semi-finals, defeating several higher-ranked and more established pairs along the way.
Their final appearance together came at the 2026 All England Open, where they pushed world No. 1 pair Feng Yan Zhe and Huang Dong Ping to three games in the opening round before losing 21-18, 18-21, 19-21.
