Shohei Ohtani put the final touch on the Los Angeles Dodgers\u2019 World Series triumph by defending his National League MVP crown, while Aaron Judge captured the American League honour for the second year running.<\/p>\n

It marked the first time in MLB history that both leagues produced consecutive repeat MVP winners in the same season.<\/p>\n
