Liverpool head coach Arne Slot said Mohamed Salah\u2019s absence from the pitch in Sunday\u2019s 2-0 win over West Ham United was strictly a matter of load management.<\/p>\n

The Egyptian was benched for the first time in 54 Premier League matches, with the previous instance also coming against the Hammers coincidentally.<\/p>\n

He was ultimately not needed off the bench as goals from Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo secured a much-needed victory that ended Liverpool\u2019s three-game losing streak.<\/p>\n
