Ruben Amorim’s side unleashed 27 shots—their highest tally in a Premier League game under the Portuguese manager—showcasing a renewed attacking intent.

United’s familiar frailties threatened to resurface when Bruno Fernandes’ 25th-minute opener was canceled out by Ricner Bellegarde’s strike in first-half stoppage time.

But the second half told a different story. We are creating so many more chances, scoring more goals, and having more real situations of danger. I’m really pleased with that.”

Midfielder Mason Mount, who got his name on the scoresheet during the second-half blitz, revealed that Amorim’s halftime instructions were pivotal in shifting the momentum.

“The gaffer had some things to say at halftime, and the onus was on us to put things right with a proper performance in the second half,” Mount said. “All our focus was on being ruthless, going forward with purpose, and taking our chances.”

Mount acknowledged the pressure the squad has been under following their recent dip in form.

“We know we need to win games, and we should have won more recently,” he added. “It’s tough when we don’t perform to the best of our ability and drop points because we know what we can do when we’re at full flow. It’s good to push up and get the three points, but we can’t stop now. We’ve got to keep going.”

Manchester United reignited their push for European football with a commanding 4-1 victory over Wolves at Molineux on Monday.
