Kazuyoshi Miura extended his record-breaking professional career after signing with J3 League side Fukushima United on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The move means the Japanese forward, who will turn 59 in February, is set to play in his 41st professional season since making his senior debut in 1986 with Santos in Brazil.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am deeply grateful for the opportunity to play in Fukushima, and I will fight hard as a member of Fukushima United. Let\u2019s build a new history together!\u201d said Miura in an official statement.<\/p>\n
