and we couldn\u2019t be prouder to begin this journey together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the 2026 MotoGP season will mark the final Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island, which has served as the event\u2019s long-time home since 1997 as well as for the first two editions.<\/p>\n<p>Besides Phillip Island, the Australian Grand Prix also took place at Eastern Creek Raceway between 1991 and 1996.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF;
