The World Baseball Classic, one of 2026\u2019s most highly anticipated sports events<\/a>, returns for its sixth edition, with games staged across Tokyo, San Juan, Houston and Miami from March 7-16.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s tournament is one of the most MLB-heavy Classics ever, showcasing baseball\u2019s biggest stars on the international stage. The United States and Venezuela lead the way, each rostering 30 MLB players, while defending champions Japan aim to retain their crown behind four-time MVP Shohei Ohtani and nine other MLB-based standouts.<\/p>\n
