San Diego Padres closer Mason Miller was named the National League (NL) Reliever of the Month for May, becoming the first repeat monthly award winner of the 2026 Major League Baseball (MLB) season.<\/p>\n

The honour was Miller’s third consecutive Reliever of the Month award dating back to September 2025, making him the first player to achieve the feat since Edwin D\u00edaz in 2022.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old was dominant throughout May, allowing no earned runs in 9 2\/3 innings while striking out 20 batters and converting all seven of his save opportunities.<\/p>\n

Miller also remained perfect in save situations this season, converting all 17 chances while posting a 0.72 ERA with 49 strikeouts across 25 innings.<\/p>\n
