{"id":5540,"date":"2026-07-17T06:51:34","date_gmt":"2026-07-17T06:51:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.spotvnow.com\/read\/?p=5540"},"modified":"2026-07-17T06:51:51","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T06:51:51","slug":"wozniacki-praises-eala-after-wimbledon-breakthrough","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spotvnow.com\/read\/wozniacki-praises-eala-after-wimbledon-breakthrough\/","title":{"rendered":"Wozniacki praises Eala after Wimbledon breakthrough"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former world number one Caroline Wozniacki believes Alexandra Eala has the potential to become one of the world&#8217;s best after the Filipina&#8217;s breakthrough run at Wimbledon.<\/p>\n<p>Eala reached the fourth round at the All England Club earlier this month, defeating Wimbledon defending champion Iga Swiatek before eventually losing to Jasmine Paolini in three sets.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XJ3o7clZuqY?si=NOwEPqGc41KiC2hP\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Tennis365, Wozniacki praised Eala&#8217;s all-round game and mentality, while identifying her serve as the main area for improvement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think she has great potential,&#8221; the 2018 Australian Open champion said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She has a good, all-round game. Great from the baseline.
