Mirra Andreeva and Andrey Rublev ended Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori’s bid for a third consecutive US Open mixed doubles title before continuing their impressive run into the semi-finals in New York.<\/p>\n

The Russian pair came from a set down to defeat the defending champions 1-4, 4-1, [11-9] in a dramatic first-round encounter on Tuesday, saving match point during the deciding tiebreak before completing the upset.<\/p>\n
