Inter Miami CF will play their first home match at the new Miami Freedom Park on April 4, Major League Soccer (MLS) announced on Thursday as part of its 2026 season schedule release.
Lionel Messi and his teammates will host Austin FC in the inaugural match at the 25,000-seat venue, which has been under construction since August 2023.
The Herons are currently based at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.

Inter Miami will kick off the 2026 MLS campaign with a five-match road swing, beginning against Son Heung-min and LAFC on February 21 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, before returning home for the long-awaited stadium debut.
MLS also confirmed that the league will pause from May 25 to July 16 to accommodate the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The regular season will conclude on November 7.
