As has often been the case at most World Table Tennis events, Singapore shoulder the Southeast Asian challenge at the upcoming tournament, while several regional names, including Suthasini Sawettabut and Orawan Paranang, will not be in action despite winning gold medals at the recent 2025 SEA Games.
Zeng Jian (Singapore)
The 29-year-old makes an immediate return to the Lusail Sports Arena after featuring at last week’s WTT Champions Doha, where she was narrowly beaten by South Korean paddler Kim Nayeong in the women’s singles first round.

Koen Pang (Singapore)
Fresh from a highly successful campaign at the 2025 SEA Games, where he captured three gold medals, Pang makes his first WTT appearance of the 2026 season in Doha. He begins his men’s singles campaign in the qualifying round and also partners Zeng in mixed doubles qualifying, following their gold medal triumph together in Thailand.

Ser Lin Qian (Singapore)
The 19-year-old competes in the qualifying rounds of both women’s singles and women’s doubles, pairing with Slovakia’s Tatiana Kukulkova in the latter. Her most recent WTT appearance came at the 2025 WTT Star Contender Muscat, where she featured in three events and notably advanced to the women’s singles main draw before losing to Japan’s Hitomi Sato.
