The football tournament has entered the quarter-final stage, with France set to face Morocco, Spain taking on Belgium, Norway meeting England and Argentina playing Switzerland later this week.
It is no surprise that the excitement has even spilled onto the grass courts of SW19, with Flavio Cobolli being a notable example in embracing the World Cup mood.

After defeating Karen Khachanov in the third round, the Italian celebrated with Brazil forward Matheus Cunha’s surfing gesture.
He then followed it up with Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic “Siuuu” after beating Alex de Minaur to reach his second consecutive Wimbledon quarter-final.

Novak Djokovic also joined in after his marathon five-set victory over Felix Auger-Aliassime on Tuesday.
The Serbian appeared to recreate Jude Bellingham’s signature celebration before acknowledging the Centre Court crowd.
