Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge are the 2025 Major League Baseball Most Valuable Players.
Shohei Ohtani put the final touch on the Los Angeles Dodgers’ World Series triumph by defending his National League MVP crown, while Aaron Judge captured the American League honour for the second year running.
It marked the first time in MLB history that both leagues produced consecutive repeat MVP winners in the same season.
Formula One world champion Lando Norris revealed his interest in getting involved in Formula E during the 2026 Monaco E-Prix weekend.
With F1 on a break, the McLaren driver made his first visit to the all-electric championship paddock as Formula E staged its Monaco double-header in Monte Carlo.
The 26-year-old also spent time in the Andretti garage with fellow Briton Jake Dennis.
During a grid walk interview, Norris opened up about his curiosity towards Formula E and hinted at plans to get behind the wheel of one of its cars in the future.
“This is the first-ever [Formula E] race I’ve been to and I’m excited,” he said.
“There are a lot of guys that I know racing here and the racing’s always good to watch, always chaos, always carnage and always unpredictable [which are] everything you want from racing.
“You’re watching a series that has top class athletes, some of the best in the world; it’s something I enjoy watching and being a part of.
“I was planning to do a bit of driving in a Formula E car at some point. I’ve spoken to Jake [Dennis] and a few of the other guys who’ve driven here.
“Not everything correlates between the two [Formula 1 and Formula E] but there are always things you can learn by speaking to and listening to drivers that are at the top of this category.”
The Monaco E-Prix weekend saw Nyck de Vries take victory in the opening race before Oliver Rowland won Race 2, making them the eighth and ninth different winners of what has been one of Formula E’s most unpredictable seasons in recent years.
After 10 rounds, António Félix da Costa remains the only driver with more than one win, while Mitch Evans leads the drivers’ standings with 128 points, 19 ahead of Rowland in second.

Jorge Martin’s crash brought an early scare to MotoGP’s in-season Barcelona test on Monday, with the Aprilia Racing rider falling heavily and triggering a red flag.
The 2024 world champion was taken to hospital for further checks after the incident, adding to a bruising Catalan Grand Prix weekend in which he had already endured multiple crashes.
The interruption was one of several factors that disrupted the day, as rain later swept across the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and effectively brought running to an early end, limiting meaningful track action in the afternoon.
Shortened, rain-disrupted but productive nonetheless!
When the timesheets were finalised, Pedro Acosta emerged fastest for Red Bull KTM with a best lap of 1:38.767, narrowly edging Fabio Quartararo (+0.064s), while Enea Bastianini (+0.117s) completed the top three in a rain-shortened test.
The test also took place with a depleted field following Sunday’s chaotic Catalan Grand Prix, with riders such as race winner Fabio Di Giannantonio, Alex Marquez and Johann Zarco absent through injury.
Only 19 MotoGP riders took to the track as teams wrapped up one of their key in-season development days before the paddock heads to Mugello.
MotoGP action resumes next week at the Italian Grand Prix, where teams will hope for a cleaner weekend after a dramatic and injury-hit spell in Barcelona.
Máximo Quiles continued his remarkable 2026 Moto3 campaign after claiming victory at the Catalan Grand Prix on Sunday.
The 18-year-old Spaniard beat Álvaro Carpe and David Muñoz to the chequered flag for his fourth win of the season.
His previous victories came in Brazil, Jerez and France, while he also finished runner-up in Thailand and the United States after narrowly losing out to David Almansa and Guido Pini respectively.
Those six consecutive top-two finishes gave Quiles 140 points after the opening six Grands Prix, the highest total at this stage of a Moto3 season.
He surpassed the previous record of 127 points jointly held by Brad Binder (2016) and Luis Salom (2013).
Quiles, who had already been tipped by several MotoGP riders as a title favourite before the season began, now holds a commanding lead in the championship standings with nearly double the tally of second-placed Adrián Fernández on 76 points.
Álex Márquez and Johann Zarco were both conscious following separate high-speed crashes during the 2026 Catalan Grand Prix.
The BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider crashed heavily during Sunday’s race after colliding with Pedro Acosta, while LCR Honda rider Zarco was caught in a frightening incident after the first restart, becoming trapped beneath Francesco Bagnaia’s bike.
According to Gresini Racing, Márquez suffered a small fracture to the C7 vertebra in his neck as well as a broken right collarbone, while LCR Honda confirmed that Zarco sustained ligament and cartilage damage to his knee, in addition to a small fracture near his ankle.
Despite the severity of the incidents, both riders later reassured fans through social media updates.
“Everything under control. I couldn't be in better hands. Huge thanks to everyone for your concern and for the loving messages I'm receiving,” Márquez posted.
“I’ll keep you updated, but I just wanted to reassure you. I'll be sleeping tonight at the hospital as they want to keep me under observation, and then we'll see,” Zarco said in an Instagram video.
The race itself was won by Fabio Di Giannantonio despite suffering a bruised arm during the first red flag.
Fermín Aldeguer and Bagnaia were later promoted to second and third respectively after provisional runner-up Joan Mir, along with four other riders, received tyre pressure penalties.
