Formula E will race at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) and Zandvoort for the first time after the 2026/27 calendar was unveiled on Tuesday.
The 13th season of the all-electric championship will feature 21 races across 13 venues and also mark the introduction of the new Gen4 regulations.
The new era will bring increased power output and active all-wheel drive, while selected events will also feature a new sprint race format known as E-Prix Unleashed.
Traditional venues such as Mexico City, Monaco, Berlin and Shanghai all retain their places on the calendar, while Brands Hatch replaces London’s ExCeL Circuit as the British round of the championship.
The season will begin with a double-header in Jeddah in December 2026 before concluding with another double-header in Tokyo in July 2027.

“We are incredibly proud to unveil our biggest and most ambitious calendar to date,” said Formula E co-founder and chief championship officer Alberto Longo.
“Every stop on this calendar has been chosen to deliver maximum sporting drama.
“Launching the season with our first-ever opener under the lights in Jeddah to showcase the speed of these GEN4 cars sets a spectacular tone, while grouping our races into distinct continental clusters ensures we do so as sustainably as possible.
“The tracks are faster, the competition is fiercer, and we cannot wait to get this historic season underway.”
The current 2025/26 season remains ongoing, with three double-header weekends still to be held in China, Japan and the United Kingdom, live on SPOTV NOW.
After the 2026 Sanya E-Prix, Jaguar TCS Racing driver Mitch Evans leads the drivers’ championship with 128 points, with defending champion Oliver Rowland 19 points behind in second place.
